Movement Forward

Movement Forward

1st Day of Spring
Sat March 20th 2021
9am-11am pst (12pm-2pm est / 4-6pm gmt)
PWYC
Join me in a space of practice that allows for vision,  new horizons, creativity and planting seeds.

'inspirare' - from the Latin for "to breathe into".

Inspiration, flow, movement forward

The process of fluid lift off.

Taking inspiration from the energy of Saraswati (creativity + wisdom), and the wingspan of swans, meet the spring equinox and set your eyes on the horizon with a slow, heart-opening movement series, self-reflection, meditation + chanting and community.

And did you feel it, in your heart, how it pertained to everything?

And have you too finally figured out what beauty is for?

And have you changed your life?

- Mary Oliver

What can I expect?

Our physical practice will be slower-paced, with longer holds and elements like backbends + hip openers. Expect intensity, but in a slow-burn, introspective kind of way! You are welcome to modify the practice at any time and options will be offered. We will also be using mantra (sacred sound) - you are welcome to participate at your own comfort level.

What to bring to class:

- Mat, journal, writing materials, warm beverage of choice, clothes you are comfortable in, props you would normally use in your practice.
